Zechariah 11:10-17
Next I tookH3947 my staffH4731 called FavorH5278 and cut it in twoH1438,1 revokingH6565 the covenantH1285 I had madeH3772 withH854 allH3605 the nationsH5971. 11It was revokedH6565 on thatH1931 dayH3117, and soH3651 the afflictedH6041 of the flockH6629 who were watchingH8104 meH853 knewH3045 thatH3588 itH1931 was the wordH1697 of the LORDH3068.
Then I toldH559 themH413, “IfH518 it seemsH5869 right to youH2896, give meH3051 my wagesH7939; but ifH518 notH3808, keep themH2308.” So they weighed outH8254 my wagesH7939, thirtyH7970 pieces of silverH3701.
And the LORDH3068 saidH559 to meH413, “ThrowH7993 it toH413 the potterH3335”—this magnificentH145 priceH3366 at whichH834 they valued meH3365H5921. So I tookH3947 the thirtyH7970 pieces of silverH3701 and threwH7993 themH853 toH413 the potterH3335 in the houseH1004 of the LORDH3068.
Then I cut in twoH1438 my secondH8145 staffH4731 called UnionH2256, breakingH6565 the brotherhoodH264 betweenH996 JudahH3063H996 and IsraelH3478.
And the LORDH3068 saidH559 to meH413: “Take upH3947 once moreH5750 the equipmentH3627 of a foolishH196 shepherdH7462. 16ForH3588 beholdH2009, IH595 will raise upH6965 a shepherdH7462 in the landH776 who will neitherH3808 care forH6485 the lostH3582, norH3808 seekH1245 the youngH5289, nor healH7495 the brokenH7665, norH3808 sustainH3557 the healthyH5324H3808, but he will devourH398 the fleshH1320 of the choiceH1277 sheep and tear offH6561 their hoovesH6541.
