Song of Songs 8:1-8
1OH4310 thatH5414 you were to me like a brotherH251 who nursedH3243 at my mother’sH517 breastsH7699! If I found youH4672 outdoorsH2351, I would kiss youH5401, andH1571 no oneH3808 would despiseH936 me.2I would lead youH5090 and bring youH935 toH413 the houseH1004 of my motherH517 who taught meH3925. I would give you spicedH7544 wineH3196 to drinkH8248, the nectarH6071 of my pomegranatesH7416.
3His left handH8040 is underH8478 my headH7218,and his right armH3225 embraces meH2263.4O daughtersH1323 of JerusalemH3389H4100, I adjureH7650 youH853:Do not arouseH5782H4100 or awakenH5782 loveH160untilH5704 the time is rightH2654.
5WhoH4310 is thisH2063 coming upH5927 fromH4480 the wildernessH4057,leaningH7514 on herH5921 belovedH1730?
I roused youH5782 underH8478 the apple treeH8598;thereH8033 your motherH517 conceived youH2254;thereH8033 she travailedH2254 and brought you forthH3205.
6Set meH7760 as a sealH2368 overH5921 your heartH3820,as a sealH2368 uponH5921 your armH2220.ForH3588 loveH160 is as strongH5794 as deathH4194,its jealousyH70681 as unrelentingH7186 as SheolH7585.Its sparksH7565 are fieryH784 flamesH7565,the fiercest blaze of allH7957.7MightyH7227 watersH4325 cannotH3808H3201 quenchH3518 loveH160;riversH5104 cannotH3808 sweep it awayH7857.IfH518 a manH376 were to giveH5414 allH3605 the wealthH1952 of his houseH1004 for loveH160,his offer would be utterly scornedH936.
