Malachi 1:2-5
2“I have loved youH157,” saysH559 the LORDH3068.
But you askH559, “HowH4100 have You loved usH157?”
“Was notH3808 EsauH6215 Jacob’sH3290 brotherH251?” declaresH5002 the LORDH3068. “Yet JacobH3290 I have lovedH157, 3butH853 EsauH6215 I have hatedH8130,1 and I have madeH7760 his mountainsH2022 a wastelandH8077 and left his inheritanceH5159 to the desertH4057 jackalsH8568.2”
4ThoughH3588 EdomH123 may sayH559, “We have been devastatedH7567, but we will rebuildH7725H1129 the ruinsH2723,” this is whatH3541 the LORDH3068 of HostsH6635 saysH559: “TheyH1992 may buildH1129, but IH589 will demolishH2040. They will be calledH7121 the LandH1366 of WickednessH7564, and a peopleH5971 with whomH834 the LORDH3068 is indignantH2194 foreverH5704H5769. 5You will see thisH7200 with your own eyesH5869, and you yourselvesH859 will sayH559, ‘The LORDH3068 is greatH1431—even beyondH5921 the bordersH1366 of IsraelH3478.’”
