Revised Version 1895
Malachi 1:2-5
2I have lovedH157 youH3808, saith the LORDH3068. Yet ye sayH559, Wherein hast thou lovedH157 usH559? Was notH3808 EsauH6215 Jacob’sH3290 brotherH251? saith the LORDH3068: yet I lovedH157 JacobH3290;
3but EsauH6215 I hatedH8130, and madeH7760 his mountainsH2022 a desolationH8077, and gaveH7760 his heritageH5159 to the jackals of the wildernessH4057.
4Whereas EdomH123 saith, WeH3588 are beatenH7567 downH2040, but weH3588 will returnH7725 and buildH1129 the wasteH2723 placesH2723; thusH3541 saith the LORDH3068 of hostsH6635, They shall buildH1129, but I will throw downH2040: and menH5971 shall callH7121 them The borderH1366 of wickednessH7564, and The peopleH5971 against whomH834 the LORDH3068 hath indignationH2194 for everH5769.
5And your eyesH5869 shall seeH7200, and ye shall sayH559, The LORDH3068 be magnifiedH1431 beyondH5921 the borderH1366 of IsraelH3478.
