7And they shall keepH8104 his chargeH4931, and the chargeH4931 of the wholeH3605 congregationH5712 beforeH6440 the tentH168 of meetingH4150, to doH5647 the serviceH5656 of the tabernacleH4908.

8And they shall keepH8104 allH3605 the furnitureH3627 of the tentH168 of meetingH4150, and the chargeH4931 of the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478, to doH5647 the serviceH5656 of the tabernacleH4908.

9And thou shalt giveH5414 the LevitesH3881 unto AaronH175 and to his sonsH1121: they are whollyH5414 givenH5414 unto him on the behalf of the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478.

10And thou shalt appointH6485 AaronH175 and his sonsH1121, and they shall keepH8104 their priesthoodH3550: and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be putH4191 to deathH4191.

11And the LORDH3068 spake unto MosesH4872, sayingH559,

12And I, beholdH2009, I have takenH3947 the LevitesH3881 from among the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478 insteadH8478 of allH3605 the firstbornH1060 that openeth the wombH7358 among the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478; and the LevitesH3881 shall be mineH8478:

13for allH3605 the firstbornH1060 are mine; on the dayH3117 that I smoteH5221 allH3605 the firstbornH1060 in the landH776 of EgyptH4714 I hallowed unto meH589 allH3605 the firstbornH1060 in IsraelH3478, bothH3605 manH120 and beastH929: mine they shall be; I am the LORDH3068.

14And the LORDH3068 spake unto MosesH4872 in the wildernessH4057 of SinaiH5514, sayingH559,

15NumberH6485 the childrenH1121 of LeviH3881 by their fathers’H1 housesH1004, by their familiesH4940: everyH3605 maleH2145 from a monthH2320 oldH1121 and upwardH4605 shalt thou numberH6485 them.

16And MosesH4872 numberedH6485 them accordingH5921 to the wordH6310 of the LORDH3068, as he was commandedH6680.

17And theseH428 were the sonsH1121 of LeviH3881 by their namesH8034; GershonH1648, and KohathH6955, and MerariH4847.

18And theseH428 are the namesH8034 of the sonsH1121 of GershonH1648 by their familiesH4940; LibniH3845 and ShimeiH8096.

19And the sonsH1121 of KohathH6955 by their familiesH4940; AmramH6019, and IzharH3324, HebronH2275, and UzzielH5816.

20And the sonsH1121 of MerariH4847 by their familiesH4940; MahliH4249 and MushiH4187. TheseH428 are the familiesH4940 of the LevitesH3881 according to their fathers’H1 housesH1004.

21Of GershonH1648 was the familyH4940 of the Libnites, and the familyH4940 of the ShimeitesH8097: theseH428 are the familiesH4940 of the GershonitesH1649.

22ThoseH3605 that were numberedH6485 of them, according to the numberH4557 of allH3605 the malesH2145, from a monthH2320 oldH1121 and upwardH4605, evenH7651 thoseH3605 that were numberedH6485 of them were sevenH7651 thousandH505 and fiveH2568 hundredH3967.

23The familiesH4940 of the GershonitesH1649 shall pitch behindH310 the tabernacleH4908 westwardH3220.

24And the princeH5387 of the fathers’H1 houseH1004 of the GershonitesH1649 shall be EliasaphH460 the sonH1121 of LaelH3815.

25And the chargeH4931 of the sonsH1121 of GershonH1648 in the tentH168 of meetingH4150 shall be the tabernacleH4908, and the TentH168, the coveringH4372 thereof, and the screenH4539 for the doorH6607 of the tentH168 of meetingH4150,

26and the hangingsH7050 of the courtH2691, and the screenH4539 for the doorH6607 of the courtH2691, whichH834 is by the tabernacleH4908, and by the altarH4196 roundH5439 aboutH5439, and the cordsH4340 of it for allH3605 the serviceH5656 thereof.

27And of KohathH6955 was the familyH4940 of the AmramitesH6020, and the familyH4940 of the IzharitesH3325, and the familyH4940 of the HebronitesH2276, and the familyH4940 of the UzzielitesH5817: theseH428 are the familiesH4940 of the KohathitesH6956.

28According to the numberH4557 of allH3605 the malesH2145, from a monthH2320 oldH1121 and upwardH4605, there were eightH8083 thousandH505 and sixH8337 hundredH3967, keepingH8104 the chargeH4931 of the sanctuaryH6944.

29The familiesH4940 of the sonsH1121 of KohathH6955 shall pitch on the sideH3409 of the tabernacleH4908 southwardH8486.

30And the princeH5387 of the fathers’H1 houseH1004 of the familiesH4940 of the KohathitesH6956 shall be ElizaphanH469 the sonH1121 of UzzielH5816.

31And their chargeH4931 shall be the arkH727, and the tableH7979, and the candlestick, and the altarsH4196, and the vesselsH3627 of the sanctuaryH6944 wherewith they ministerH8334, and the screenH4539, and allH3605 the serviceH5656 thereof.

32And EleazarH499 the sonH1121 of AaronH175 the priestH3548 shall be princeH5387 of the princesH5387 of the LevitesH3881, and have the oversightH6486 of them that keepH8104 the chargeH4931 of the sanctuaryH6944.

33Of MerariH4847 was the familyH4940 of the MahlitesH4250, and the familyH4940 of the MushitesH4188: theseH428 are the familiesH4940 of MerariH4847.

34And thoseH3605 that were numberedH6485 of them, according to the numberH4557 of allH3605 the malesH2145, from a monthH2320 oldH1121 and upwardH4605, were sixH8337 thousandH505 and twoH3967 hundredH3967.

35And the princeH5387 of the fathers’H1 houseH1004 of the familiesH4940 of MerariH4847 was ZurielH6700 the sonH1121 of AbihailH32: they shall pitch on the sideH3409 of the tabernacleH4908 northwardH6828.

36And the appointedH6486 chargeH4931 of the sonsH1121 of MerariH4847 shall be the boards of the tabernacleH4908, and the barsH1280 thereof, and the pillarsH5982 thereof, and the socketsH134 thereof, and allH3605 the instrumentsH3627 thereof, and allH3605 the serviceH5656 thereof;

37and the pillarsH5982 of the courtH2691 roundH5439 aboutH5439, and their socketsH134, and their pins, and their cordsH4340.
