Revised Version 1895
Exodus 8:21-31
Else, if thou wilt notH776 let my peopleH776 go, behold, I will send swarms of flies uponH7121 thee, and uponH7121 thy servants, and uponH7121 thy peopleH776, and intoH413 thy houses: and the houses of the Egyptians shall be full of swarms of flies, and also the groundH776 whereon they are.
And I will sever in that dayH4872 the land of Goshen, in whichH5869 my peopleH3808 dwell, that noH3808 swarms of flies shall be there; to the end thou mayest know that I am the LORDH3068 in the midst of the earth.
And I will put a division between my peopleH834 and thy peopleH834: by tomorrow shall this sign be.
And the LORDH3068 didH3808 soH7971; and there cameH559 grievous swarms of flies intoH6547 the house of PharaohH6547, and intoH6547 his servants’ houses: and in all the land of Egypt the land was corrupted by reason of the swarms of flies.
And PharaohH6547 calledH559 for MosesH4872 and for Aaron, and saidH559, GoH3318 ye, sacrificeH2076 to your GodH3068 in the land.
And MosesH4872 saidH413, It is not meetH3318 soH3318 to doH3318; for we shall sacrifice the abomination of the Egyptians to the LORDH3068 our GodH3068: lo, shall we sacrifice the abomination of the Egyptians beforeH413 their eyes, and will they not stone usH413?
WeH1697 will goH5493 three days’ journey intoH5493 the wilderness, and sacrifice to the LORDH3068 our GodH3068, as he shall commandH1697 usH6213.
And PharaohH6547 said, I will letH7971 youH7971 goH7971, that ye may sacrifice to the LORD your GodH3808 in the wilderness; onlyH1571 ye shall notH3808 goH7971 veryH1571 far awayH7971: entreat for meH7971.
And Moses said, Behold, I go out from thee, and I will entreat the LORD that the swarms of flies may depart from Pharaoh, from his servants, and from his people, tomorrow: only let not Pharaoh deal deceitfully any more in not letting the people go to sacrifice to the LORD.
And Moses went out from Pharaoh, and entreated the LORD.
And the LORD did according to the word of Moses; and he removed the swarms of flies from Pharaoh, from his servants, and from his people; there remained not one.
