Exodus 7:14-25
14And the LORDH3068 saidH559 unto MosesH4872, Pharaoh’sH6547 heartH3820 is stubbornH3515, he refuseth to letH7971 the peopleH5971 goH7971. 15GetH3947 thee unto PharaohH6547 in the morningH1242; loH2009, he goeth outH3318 unto the waterH4325; and thou shalt standH5324 by the river’s brink to meetH7125 him; and the rodH4294 whichH834 was turnedH2015 to a serpentH5175 shalt thou takeH3947 in thine handH3027. 16And thou shalt sayH559 unto him, The LORDH3068, the GodH430 of the HebrewsH5680, hath sentH7971 meH413 unto thee, sayingH559, LetH7971 my peopleH5971 goH7971, that they may serveH5647 meH413 in the wildernessH4057: and, beholdH2009, hitherto thou hast notH3808 hearkened. 17ThusH3541 saith the LORDH3068, In this thou shalt knowH3045 that I am the LORDH3068: beholdH2009, I will smiteH5221 with the rodH4294 that is in mine handH3027 uponH5921 the watersH4325 whichH834 are in the riverH2975, and they shall be turnedH2015 to bloodH1818. 18And the fishH1710 that is in the riverH2975 shall dieH4191, and the riverH2975 shall stinkH887; and the EgyptiansH4713 shall loathe to drinkH8354 waterH4325 from the riverH2975. 19And the LORDH3068 saidH559 unto MosesH4872, SayH559 unto AaronH175, TakeH3947 thy rodH4294, and stretchH5186 outH5186 thine handH3027 over the watersH4325 of EgyptH4714, over their riversH5104, over their streamsH5104, and over their poolsH98, and over allH3605 their pondsH98 of waterH4325, that they may becomeH1961 bloodH1818; and there shall be bloodH1818 throughoutH3605 allH3605 the landH776 of EgyptH4714, bothH3605 in vessels of woodH6086 and in vessels of stoneH68. 20And MosesH4872 and AaronH175 didH6213 soH3651, as the LORDH3068 commandedH6680; and he liftedH7311 upH7311 the rodH4294, and smoteH5221 the watersH4325 that were in the riverH2975, in the sightH5869 of PharaohH6547, and in the sightH5869 of his servantsH5650; and allH3605 the watersH4325 that were in the riverH2975 were turnedH2015 to bloodH1818. 21And the fishH1710 that was in the riverH2975 diedH4191; and the riverH2975 stankH887, and the EgyptiansH4714 couldH3201 notH3808 drinkH8354 waterH4325 from the riverH2975; and the bloodH1818 was throughoutH3605 allH3605 the landH776 of EgyptH4714. 22And the magiciansH2748 of EgyptH4714 didH6213 in like mannerH3651 with their enchantments: and Pharaoh’sH6547 heartH3820 was hardenedH2388, and he hearkened notH3808 unto them; as the LORDH3068 had spokenH1696. 23And PharaohH6547 turnedH6437 and wentH935 intoH413 his houseH1004, neitherH3808 didH3808 he layH7896 evenH1571 this to heartH3820. 24And allH3605 the EgyptiansH4713 digged roundH5439 aboutH5439 the riverH2975 for waterH4325 to drinkH8354; for they couldH3201 notH3808 drinkH8354 of the waterH4325 of the riverH2975. 25And sevenH7651 daysH3117 were fulfilledH4390, afterH310 that the LORDH3068 had smittenH5221 the riverH2975.
