Exodus 16:4-21

Then saidH559 the LORDH3068 unto MosesH4872, BeholdH2005, I will rainH4305 breadH3899 from heavenH8064 for youH518; and the peopleH5971 shall goH3318 outH3318 and gatherH3950 a day’sH3117 portionH1697 everyH3117 dayH3117, that I may prove them, whetherH518 they will walk in my lawH8451, or noH3808.

And it shall comeH935 to passH935 on the sixthH8345 dayH3117, that they shall prepareH3559 that whichH834 they bringH935 in, and it shall be twiceH4932 as muchH834 as they gatherH3950 dailyH3117.

And MosesH4872 and AaronH175 saidH559 unto allH3605 the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478, At evenH3588, then ye shall knowH3045 that the LORDH3068 hath broughtH3318 youH3588 outH3318 from the landH776 of EgyptH4714:

and in the morningH1242, then ye shall seeH7200 the gloryH3519 of the LORDH3068; for that he heareth your murmurings againstH5921 the LORDH3068: and whatH4100 are weH3588, that ye murmurH3885 againstH5921 usH5921?

And MosesH4872 saidH559, This shall be, when the LORDH3068 shall giveH5414 youH859 in the eveningH6153 fleshH1320 to eatH398, and in the morningH1242 breadH3899 to the fullH7646; for that the LORDH3068 heareth your murmurings whichH834 ye murmur againstH5921 him: and whatH4100 are weH3588? your murmurings are notH3808 againstH5921 usH5414, but againstH5921 the LORDH3068.

And MosesH4872 saidH559 unto AaronH175, SayH559 unto allH3605 the congregationH5712 of the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478, ComeH7126 nearH7126 beforeH6440 the LORDH3068: for he hath heardH8085 your murmurings.

And it cameH1961 to passH1961, as AaronH175 spake unto the wholeH3605 congregationH5712 of the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478, that they lookedH7200 towardH413 the wildernessH4057, and, beholdH2009, the gloryH3519 of the LORDH3068 appearedH7200 in the cloudH6051.

And the LORDH3068 spake unto MosesH4872, sayingH559,

I have heardH8085 the murmurings of the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478: speakH1696 unto them, sayingH559, At evenH3588 ye shall eatH398 fleshH1320, and in the morningH1242 ye shall be filledH7646 with breadH3899; and ye shall knowH3045 that I am the LORDH3068 your GodH430.

And it cameH1961 to passH1961 at evenH853, that the quailsH7958 cameH1961 upH5927, and coveredH3680 the campH4264: and in the morningH1242 the dewH2919 layH1961 roundH5439 aboutH1961 the campH4264.

And when the dewH2919 that lay was goneH5927 upH5927, beholdH2009, uponH5921 the faceH6440 of the wildernessH4057 a small round thingH2636, small as the hoar frost on the groundH776.

And when the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478 sawH7200 it, they saidH559 one to anotherH251, WhatH4100 is it? for they wist notH3808 whatH4100 it was. And MosesH4872 saidH559 unto them, It is the breadH3899 whichH834 the LORDH3068 hath givenH5414 youH834 to eatH402.

This is the thingH1697 whichH834 the LORDH3068 hath commandedH6680, GatherH3950 ye of it everyH376 manH376 accordingH6310 to his eating; an omer a headH1538, accordingH6310 to the numberH4557 of your personsH5315, shall ye takeH3947 it, everyH376 manH376 for them whichH834 are in his tentH168.

And the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478 didH6213 soH3651, and gatheredH3950 some moreH3651, some lessH4591.

And when they didH3808 mete it with an omer, he that gatheredH3950 muchH7235 had nothingH3808 over, and he that gatheredH3950 littleH4591 had noH3808 lackH2637; they gatheredH3950 everyH376 manH376 accordingH6310 to his eating.

And MosesH4872 saidH559 unto them, LetH408 noH408 manH376 leaveH3498 of it tillH5704 the morningH1242.

Notwithstanding they hearkened notH3808 unto MosesH4872; but someH4480 of them leftH3498 of it untilH5704 the morningH1242, and it bred wormsH8438, and stankH887: and MosesH4872 was wroth with them.

And they gatheredH3950 it morningH1242 by morningH1242, everyH376 manH376 accordingH6310 to his eating: and when the sunH8121 waxed hotH2552, it meltedH4549.
