Exodus 1:15-20

And the kingH4428 of EgyptH4714 spake to the HebrewH5680 midwivesH3205, of whichH834 the nameH8034 of the one was ShiphrahH8236, and the nameH8034 of the otherH259 PuahH6326:

and he saidH559, When ye doH518 the office of a midwifeH3205 to the HebrewH5680 womenH1323, and seeH7200 them uponH5921 the birthstoolH70; ifH518 it be a sonH1121, then ye shall killH4191 him; but ifH518 it be a daughterH1323, then sheH1931 shall live.

But the midwivesH3205 fearedH3372 GodH430, and didH6213 notH3808 as the kingH4428 of EgyptH4714 commandedH1696 them, but saved the menH3206 childrenH3206 aliveH2421.

And the kingH4428 of EgyptH4714 calledH7121 for the midwivesH3205, and saidH559 unto them, WhyH4069 have ye doneH6213 this thingH1697, and have saved the menH3206 childrenH3206 aliveH2421?

And the midwivesH3205 saidH559 unto PharaohH6547, BecauseH3588 the HebrewH5680 womenH802 are notH3808 as the EgyptianH4713 womenH802; for they are lively, and are deliveredH3205 ere the midwifeH3205 comeH935 unto them.

And GodH430 dealt wellH3190 with the midwivesH3205: and the peopleH5971 multipliedH7235, and waxed veryH3966 mightyH430.
