Revised Version 1895
Samuel 7:8-14
NowH6258 therefore thusH3541 shalt thou sayH559 unto my servantH5650 DavidH1732, ThusH3541 saith the LORDH3068 of hostsH6635, I tookH3947 thee from the sheepcote, from followingH310 the sheepH6629, that thou shouldest be princeH5057 over my peopleH5971, over IsraelH3478:
and I have been with thee whithersoever thou wentest, and have cutH3772 offH3772 allH3605 thine enemiesH341 from beforeH6440 thee; and I will makeH6213 thee a greatH1419 nameH8034, like unto the nameH8034 of the greatH1419 onesH1419 that are in the earthH776.
And I will appointH7760 a placeH4725 for my peopleH5971 IsraelH3478, and will plantH5193 them, that they may dwellH7931 in their own placeH4725, and be movedH7264 noH3808 moreH5750; neitherH3808 shall the childrenH1121 of wickednessH5766 afflictH6031 them anyH5750 moreH5750, as at the firstH7223,
and as from the dayH3117 that I commandedH6680 judgesH8199 to be over my peopleH5971 IsraelH3478; and I will cause thee to restH5117 from allH3605 thine enemiesH341. Moreover the LORDH3068 telleth thee that the LORDH3068 will makeH6213 thee an houseH1004.
When thy daysH3117 be fulfilledH4390, and thou shalt sleepH7901 with thy fathersH1, I will setH6965 upH6965 thy seedH2233 afterH310 thee, whichH834 shall proceedH3318 outH3318 of thy bowelsH4578, and I will establishH6965 his kingdomH4467.
He shall buildH1129 an houseH1004 for my nameH8034, and I will establishH3559 the throneH3678 of his kingdomH4467 for everH5769.
I will be his fatherH1, and he shall be my sonH1121: ifH834 he commit iniquity, I will chasten him with the rodH7626 of menH376, and with the stripesH5061 of the childrenH1121 of menH376;
