Revised Version 1895
Samuel 19:9-14
And allH3605 the peopleH5971 were at strife throughoutH3605 allH3605 the tribes of IsraelH3478, sayingH559, The kingH4428 delivered usH5046 outH6440 of the hand of our enemiesH6965, and he saved usH5046 outH6440 of the hand of the Philistines; and nowH2009 he is fledH5127 outH6440 of the landH6440 from Absalom.
And AbsalomH53, whom weH6258 anointed over usH5921, is dead in battle. NowH6258 therefore why speakH559 ye notH1961 a wordH559 of bringing the kingH4428 back?
And kingH4428 David sentH7725 to Zadok and to Abiathar the priests, saying, Speak unto the elders of Judah, saying, WhyH4100 are ye the last to bringH7725 the kingH4428 backH7725 to his house? seeing the speech of all IsraelH4421 is comeH7725 to the kingH4428, to bringH7725 him to his house.
Ye are my brethren, ye are my bone and my flesh: wherefore then are ye the lastH314 to bringH935 backH7725 the kingH4428?
And say ye to Amasa, Art thou notH1961 my boneH6106 and my fleshH1320? God doH4100 soH1961 to meH7725, and more also, ifH1961 thou be notH1961 captain of the host before meH7725 continually in the room of Joab.
And he bowed the heart of allH3605 the menH3605 of Judah, evenH3808 as the heart of one manH3605; soH6213 that they sentH559 unto the king, sayingH559, ReturnH8478 thou, and allH3605 thy servants.
