Revised Version 1895
Kings 6:2-10
And the houseH1004 whichH834 kingH4428 SolomonH8010 builtH1129 for the LORDH3068, the lengthH753 thereof was threescore cubitsH520, and the breadthH7341 thereof twentyH6242 cubitsH520, and the heightH6967 thereof thirtyH7970 cubitsH520.
And the porchH197 beforeH6440 the templeH1004 of the houseH1004, twentyH6242 cubitsH520 was the lengthH753 thereof, accordingH5921 to the breadthH7341 of the houseH1004; and tenH6235 cubitsH520 was the breadthH7341 thereof beforeH6440 the houseH1004.
And for the houseH1004 he madeH6213 windowsH2474 of fixed lattice-work.
And againstH5921 the wallH7023 of the houseH1004 he builtH1129 storiesH6763 roundH5439 aboutH5439, againstH5921 the wallsH7023 of the houseH1004 roundH5439 aboutH5439, bothH5921 of the templeH1004 and of the oracle: and he madeH6213 side-chambers roundH5439 aboutH5439:
The nethermost story was fiveH2568 cubitsH520 broad, and the middleH8484 was sixH8337 cubitsH520 broad, and the thirdH7992 was sevenH7651 cubitsH520 broad: for on the outsideH2351 he madeH5414 rebatements in the wallH7023 of the houseH1004 roundH5439 aboutH5439, that the beams should notH1115 have holdH270 in the wallsH7023 of the houseH1004.
And the houseH1004, when it was in buildingH1129, was builtH1129 of stoneH68 madeH3605 ready at the quarry: and there was neitherH3808 hammerH4717 norH3808 axeH1631 norH3808 anyH3605 toolH3627 of ironH1270 heardH8085 in the houseH1004, whileH1004 it was in buildingH1129.
The doorH6607 for the middleH8484 side-chambers was in the rightH3233 sideH3802 of the houseH1004: and they wentH5927 upH5927 by windingH3883 stairsH3883 intoH413 the middleH8484 chambersH6763, and outH4480 of the middleH8484 intoH413 the thirdH7992.
SoH853 he builtH1129 the houseH1004, and finishedH3615 it; and he coveredH5603 the houseH1004 with beams and planksH7713 of cedar.
And he builtH1129 the stories againstH5921 allH3605 the houseH1004, eachH3605 fiveH2568 cubitsH520 highH6967: and they rested on the houseH1004 with timberH6086 of cedarH730.
