8“I have heardH8085 the 1tauntingH2781 of MoabH4124 And the 2abusiveH1421 speechH1421 of the sonsH1121 of AmmonH5983, With whichH834 they have tauntedH2778 My peopleH5971 And 3boastedH1431 againstH5921 their territoryH1366.9ThereforeH3651, as I liveH2416,” declaresH5002 the LordH3068 of armiesH6635, The GodH430 of IsraelH3478, “4MoabH4124 will assuredlyH3588 be like 5SodomH5467, And the sonsH1121 of 6AmmonH5983 like 7GomorrahH6017-- GroundH4476 overgrownH4476 with weedsH2738 and full of saltH4417 minesH4379, And a permanentH5769 desolationH8077. The remnantH7611 of My peopleH5971 will 8plunderH962 them, And the remainderH3499 of My nationH1471 will inheritH5157 them.” 10ThisH2088 they will have inH8478 returnH8478 forH8478 their 9arroganceH1347, becauseH3588 they have 10tauntedH2778 and boastedH1431 againstH5921 the peopleH5971 of the LordH3068 of armiesH6635.
