Hosea 5:5-15
5Moreover, the 1prideH1347 of IsraelH3478 testifiesH6030 againstH6440 him, And IsraelH3478 and EphraimH669 stumbleH3782 in their wrongdoingH5771; 2JudahH3063 alsoH1571 has stumbledH3782 with them.6They will 3goH1980 with their flocksH6629 and herdsH1241 To seekH1245 the LordH3068, but they will 4not findH4672 Him; He has 5withdrawnH2502 from them.7They have 6dealtH898 treacherouslyH898 with the LordH3068, For they have givenH3205 birthH3205 to 78illegitimateH2114 childrenH1121. NowH6258 the 9newH2320 moonH2320 will devourH398 them with their 10landH2506.
811BlowH8628 the hornH7782 in 12GibeahH1390, And the trumpetH2689 in RamahH7414. SoundH7321 anH7321 alarmH7321 at Beth-avenH1007: “13BehindH310 you, BenjaminH1144!”9EphraimH669 will becomeH1961 a 14desolationH8047 in the 15dayH3117 of rebukeH8433; Among the tribesH7626 of IsraelH3478 I 16makeH3045 knownH3045 what is trustworthyH539.10The leadersH8269 of JudahH3063 have becomeH1961 like those who 17displaceH5472 a boundaryH1366 markerH1366; On them I will 18pourH8210 outH8210 My angerH5678 19like waterH4325.11EphraimH669 is 20oppressedH6231, brokenH7533 by judgmentH4941, 21BecauseH3588 he wasH2974 determinedH2974 to followH1980H310 22man’s commandH6673.12Therefore I am like a 23mothH6211 to EphraimH669, And like rottennessH7538 to the houseH1004 of JudahH3063.13When EphraimH669 sawH7200 his sicknessH2483, And JudahH3063 his 24soreH4205, EphraimH669 then wentH1980 to 25AssyriaH804 And sentH7971 word to 2627KingH4428 JarebH3377. But he isH3201 28unableH3808H3201 to healH7495 you, Or to cureH1455 you of your 29soreH4205.14For I will be 30like a lionH7826 to EphraimH669 And like a youngH3715 lionH3715 to the houseH1004 of JudahH3063. 31I, yes I, will tearH2963 toH2963 piecesH2963 and goH1980 away, I will carryH5375 away, and thereH369 willH369 beH369 32noH369 oneH369 to rescueH5337.15I will goH1980 away and returnH7725 to My placeH4725 UntilH5704H834 they 3334acknowledgeH816 their guiltH816 and seekH1245 My faceH6440; In their distressH6862 they will 35searchH7836 for Me.
