Zephaniah 3:8-13
8“Therefore 1wait for Me,” declares the Lord, “For the day when I rise up as a witness. Indeed, My decision is to 2gather nations, To assemble kingdoms, To pour out on them My indignation, All My burning anger; For 3all the earth will be devoured By the fire of My zeal.9For then I will 4give to the peoples 5purified lips, That all of them may 6call on the name of the Lord, To serve Him 7shoulder to shoulder.10From beyond the rivers of 8Ethiopia My 9worshipers, 10My dispersed ones, Will 11bring My offerings.11In that day you will 12feel no shame Because of all your deeds By which you have rebelled against Me; For then I will remove from your midst Your 13proud, exulting ones, And you will never again be haughty On My 14holy mountain.12But I will leave among you A 15humble and lowly people, And they will 16take refuge in the name of the Lord.13The 17remnant of Israel will 18do no wrong And 19tell no lies, Nor will a deceitful tongue Be found in their mouths; For they will 20feed and lie down With no one to make them tremble.”
