Titus 1:11-15
who must be silenced because they are upsetting 1whole families, teaching 2things they should not teach 3for the sake of sordid gain.
One of themselves, a prophet of their own, said, “4Cretans are always liars, evil beasts, lazy gluttons.”
This testimony is true. For this reason 5reprove them 6severely so that they may be 7sound in the faith,
not paying attention to Jewish 8myths and 9commandments of men who 10turn away from the truth.
To the pure, all things are pure; but 12to those who are defiled and unbelieving, nothing is pure, but both their 13mind and their conscience are defiled.
