Proverbs 22:22-28
221Do not rob the poor because he is poor, Or 2crush the afflicted at the gate;23For the Lord will 3plead their case And 4take the life of those who rob them.
24Do not associate with a man given to anger; Or go with a 5hot-tempered man,25Or you will 6learn his ways And 7find a snare for yourself.
26Do not be among those who 8give 9pledges, Among those who become guarantors for debts.27If you have nothing with which to pay, Why should he 10take your bed from under you?
2811Do not move the ancient boundary Which your fathers have set.
