Philippians 1:10-16
10so that you may 12approve the things that are excellent, in order to be sincere and blameless 3until 4the day of Christ; 11having been filled with the 5fruit of righteousness which comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.
12Now I want you to know, brethren, that my circumstances 6have turned out for the greater progress of the 7gospel, 13so that my 89imprisonment in the cause of Christ has become well known throughout the whole 10praetorian guard and to 11everyone else, 14and that most of the 12brethren, trusting in the Lord because of my 1314imprisonment, have 15far more courage to speak the word of God without fear. 1516Some, to be sure, are preaching Christ even 17from envy and strife, but some also 18from good will; 16the latter do it out of love, knowing that I am appointed for the defense of the 19gospel;
