Micah 5:1-5

1“1Now muster yourselves in troops, daughter of troops; 2They have laid siege against us; With a rod they will 3smite the judge of Israel on the cheek.24But as for 5you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, Too little to be among the clans of Judah, From 6you One will go forth for Me to be 7ruler in Israel. 8His goings forth are 9from long ago, From the days of eternity.”3Therefore He will 10give them up until the time When she 11who is in labor has borne a child. Then the 12remainder of His brethren Will return to the sons of Israel.4And He will arise and 13shepherd His flock In the strength of the Lord, In the majesty of the name of the Lord His God. And they will 14remain, Because 15at that time He will be great To the 16ends of the earth.5This One 17will be our peace. When the 18Assyrian invades our land, When he tramples on our 19citadels, Then we will raise against him Seven shepherds and eight leaders of men.
