Micah 2:6-11
6‘1Do not 2speak out,’ so they 3speak out. But if 4they do 5not 6speak out concerning these things, 7Reproaches will not be turned back.7Is it being said, O house of Jacob: ‘Is the Spirit of the Lord 8impatient? Are these His doings?’ Do not My words 9do good To the one 10walking uprightly?811Recently My people have arisen as an 12enemy-- You 13strip the 14robe off the garment From 15unsuspecting passers-by, From those returned from war.9The women of My people you 16evict, Each one from her pleasant house. From her children you take My 17splendor forever.10Arise and go, For this is no place 18of rest Because of the 19uncleanness that brings on destruction, A painful destruction.11If a man walking after wind and 20falsehood Had told lies and said, ‘I will 21speak out to you concerning 22wine and liquor,’ He would be 23spokesman to 24this people.
