Matthew 28:9-20
9And behold, Jesus met them 1and greeted them. And they came up and took hold of His feet and worshiped Him. 10Then Jesus said to them, “23Do not be afraid; go and take word to 4My brethren to leave 5for Galilee, and there they will see Me.”
11Now while they were on their way, some of 6the guard came into the city and reported to the chief priests all that had happened. 12And when they had assembled with the elders and consulted together, they gave a large sum of money to the soldiers, 13and said, “You are to say, ‘His disciples came by night and stole Him away while we were asleep.’ 14And if this should come to 7the governor’s ears, we will win him over and 8keep you out of trouble.” 15And they took the money and did as they had been instructed; and this story was widely 9spread among the Jews, and is 10to this day.
16But the eleven disciples proceeded 11to Galilee, to the mountain which Jesus had designated. 17When they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but 12some were doubtful. 18And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “13All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 191415Go therefore and 16make disciples of 17all the nations, 18baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, 20teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, 19I am with you 20always, even to 21the end of the age.”
