Matthew 12:22-28

221Then a 2demon-possessed man who was blind and mute was brought to 3Jesus, and He healed him, so that the mute man spoke and saw. 23All the crowds were amazed, and were saying, “This man cannot be the 4Son of David, can he?” 24But when the Pharisees heard this, they said, “This man 5casts out demons only by 6Beelzebul the ruler of the demons.”

257And 8knowing their thoughts Jesus said to them, “9Any kingdom divided against itself is laid waste; and 10any city or house divided against itself will not stand. 26If 11Satan casts out Satan, he 12is divided against himself; how then will his kingdom stand? 27If I 13by 14Beelzebul cast out demons, 15by whom do your sons cast them out? For this reason they will be your judges. 28But 16if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you.
