Matthew 12:15-31
15But Jesus, 1aware of this, withdrew from there. Many followed Him, and 2He healed them all, 16and 3warned them not to 4tell who He was. 17This was to fulfill what was spoken through Isaiah the prophet:18“5Behold, My 6Servant whom I 7have chosen; 8My Beloved in whom My soul 9is well-pleased; 10I will put My Spirit upon Him, 11And He shall proclaim 12justice to the 13Gentiles.1914He will not quarrel, nor cry out; Nor will anyone hear His voice in the streets.2015A battered reed He will not break off, And a smoldering wick He will not put out, Until He 16leads 17justice to victory.2118And in His name the 19Gentiles will hope.”
2220Then a 21demon-possessed man who was blind and mute was brought to 22Jesus, and He healed him, so that the mute man spoke and saw. 23All the crowds were amazed, and were saying, “This man cannot be the 23Son of David, can he?” 24But when the Pharisees heard this, they said, “This man 24casts out demons only by 25Beelzebul the ruler of the demons.”
2526And 27knowing their thoughts Jesus said to them, “28Any kingdom divided against itself is laid waste; and 29any city or house divided against itself will not stand. 26If 30Satan casts out Satan, he 31is divided against himself; how then will his kingdom stand? 27If I 32by 33Beelzebul cast out demons, 34by whom do your sons cast them out? For this reason they will be your judges. 28But 35if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you. 29Or how can anyone enter the strong man’s house and carry off his property, unless he first binds the strong man? And then he will plunder his house. 3036He who is not with Me is against Me; and he who does not gather with Me scatters.
31“37Therefore I say to you, any sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven people, but blasphemy against the Spirit shall not be forgiven.
