Malachi 2:6-13
612True instruction was in his mouth and unrighteousness was not found on his lips; he walked 3with Me in peace and uprightness, and he 4turned many back from iniquity. 7For the lips of a priest should preserve 5knowledge, and 6men should 7seek 8instruction from his mouth; for he is the 9messenger of the Lord of hosts. 8But as for you, you have turned aside from the way; you have caused many to 10stumble 11by the instruction; you have 1213corrupted the covenant of Levi,” says the Lord of hosts. 9“So 14I also have made you despised and 15abased 16before all the people, just as you are not keeping My ways but are showing 17partiality in the 18instruction.
10“Do we not all have 19one father? 20Has not one God created us? Why do we deal 21treacherously each against his brother so as to profane the 22covenant of our fathers? 11Judah has dealt 23treacherously, and an abomination has been committed in Israel and in Jerusalem; for Judah has 24profaned the sanctuary of the Lord 25which He loves and has married the daughter of a foreign god. 12As for the man who does this, may the 26Lord cut off from the tents of Jacob everyone who awakes and answers, or who 27presents 28an offering to the Lord of hosts.
13“This is 29another thing you do: you cover the altar of the Lord with tears, with weeping and with groaning, because He 30no longer regards the 31offering or accepts it with favor from your hand.
