Luke 19:37-44

37As soon as He was approaching, near the descent of 1the Mount of Olives, the whole crowd of the disciples began to 2praise God 3joyfully with a loud voice for all the 4miracles which they had seen, 38shouting: “5Blessed is the 6King who comes in the name of the Lord; Peace in heaven and 7glory in the highest!” 398Some of the Pharisees 9in the crowd said to Him, “Teacher, rebuke Your disciples.” 40But Jesus answered, “I tell you, if these become silent, 10the stones will cry out!”

41When He approached Jerusalem, He saw the city and 11wept over it, 42saying, “If you had known in this day, even you, the things which make for peace! But now they have been hidden from your eyes. 43For the days will come upon you 12when your enemies will 13throw up a 14barricade against you, and 15surround you and hem you in on every side, 44and they will level you to the ground and your children within you, and 16they will not leave in you one stone upon another, because you did not recognize 17the time of your visitation.”
