John 7:25-30
25So some of the people of Jerusalem were saying, “Is this not the man whom they are seeking to kill?
26Look, He is speaking publicly, and they are saying nothing to Him. 1The rulers do not really know that this is 2the Christ, do they?
27However, 3we know where this man is from; but whenever the Christ may come, no one knows where He is from.”
28Then Jesus cried out in the temple, 4teaching and saying, “5You both know Me and know where I am from; and 6I have not come of Myself, but He who sent Me is true, whom you do not know.
297I know Him, because 8I am from Him, and 9He sent Me.”
30So they 10were seeking to seize Him; and no man laid his hand on Him, because His 11hour had not yet come.
