John 3:26-30

26And they came to John and said to him, “1Rabbi, He who was with you 2beyond the Jordan, to whom you 3have testified, behold, He is baptizing and all are coming to Him.” 27John answered and said, “4A man can receive nothing unless it 5has been given him from heaven. 28You yourselves 6are my witnesses that I said, ‘7I am not the 8Christ,’ but, ‘I have been sent ahead of Him.’ 29He who has the bride is 9the bridegroom; but the friend of the bridegroom, who stands and hears him, rejoices greatly because of the bridegroom’s voice. So this 10joy of mine has been made full. 30He must increase, but I must decrease.
