John 14:23-31
23Jesus answered and said to him, “1If anyone loves Me, he will 2keep My word; and 3My Father will love him, and We 4will come to him and make Our abode with him. 24He who does not love Me 5does not keep My words; and 6the word which you hear is not Mine, but the Father’s who sent Me.
25“These things I have spoken to you while abiding with you. 26But the 7Helper, the Holy Spirit, 8whom the Father will send in My name, 9He will teach you all things, and 10bring to your remembrance all that I said to you. 2711Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. 12Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful. 2813You heard that I said to you, ‘I go away, and 14I will come to you.’ If you loved Me, you would have rejoiced because 15I go to the Father, for 16the Father is greater than I. 29Now 17I have told you before it happens, so that when it happens, you may believe. 30I will not speak much more with you, for 18the ruler of the world is coming, and he has nothing in Me; 31but so that the world may know that I love the Father, 19I do exactly as 20the Father commanded Me. Get up, 21let us go from here.
