John 1:4-9

41In Him was life, and the life was 2the Light of men. 53The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not 4comprehend it.

6There 5came a man sent from God, whose name was 6John. 77He came 89as a witness, to testify about the Light, 10so that all might believe through him. 81112He was not the Light, but he came to testify about the Light.

9There was 13the true Light 14which, coming into the world, enlightens every man.
