Jeremiah 25:10-12
10Moreover, I will 12take from them the voice of joy and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the 3sound of the millstones and the light of the lamp. 114This whole land will be a desolation and a horror, and these nations will serve the king of Babylon 5seventy years.
12‘Then it will be 6when seventy years are completed I will 7punish the king of Babylon and that nation,’ declares the Lord, ‘for their iniquity, and the land of the Chaldeans; and 8I will make it an everlasting desolation.
