James 5:4-8

4Behold, 1the pay of the laborers who mowed your fields, and which has been withheld by you, cries out against you; and 2the outcry of those who did the harvesting has reached the ears of 3the Lord of 4Sabaoth. 5You have 5lived luxuriously on the earth and led a life of wanton pleasure; you have 6fattened your hearts in 7a day of slaughter. 6You have condemned and 89put to death 10the righteous man; he does not resist you.

7Therefore be patient, 11brethren, 12until the coming of the Lord. 13The farmer waits for the precious produce of the soil, being patient about it, until 14it gets 15the early and late rains. 816You too be patient; 17strengthen your hearts, for 18the coming of the Lord is 19near.
