James 4:8-12

81Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. 2Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and 3purify your hearts, you 4double-minded. 95Be miserable and mourn and weep; let your laughter be turned into mourning and your joy to gloom. 106Humble yourselves in the presence of the Lord, and He will exalt you.

117Do not speak against one another, 8brethren. He who speaks against a brother or 9judges his brother, speaks against 10the law and judges the law; but if you judge the law, you are not 11a doer of the law but a judge of it. 12There is only one 12Lawgiver and Judge, the One who is 13able to save and to destroy; but 14who are you who judge your neighbor?
