James 2:17-20
17Even so 1faith, if it has no works, is 2dead, being by itself.
183But someone 4may well say, “You have faith and I have works; show me your 5faith without the works, and I will 6show you my faith 7by my works.” 19You believe that 89God is one. 10You do well; 11the demons also believe, and shudder. 20But are you willing to recognize, 12you foolish fellow, that 13faith without works is useless?
