Hosea 5:9-14

9Ephraim will become a 1desolation in the 2day of rebuke; Among the tribes of Israel I 3declare what is sure.10The princes of Judah have become like those who 4move a boundary; On them I will 5pour out My wrath 6like water.11Ephraim is 7oppressed, crushed in judgment, 8Because he was determined to 9follow man’s command.12Therefore I am like a 10moth to Ephraim And like rottenness to the house of Judah.13When Ephraim saw his sickness, And Judah his 11wound, Then Ephraim went to 12Assyria And sent to 1314King Jareb. But he is 15unable to heal you, Or to cure you of your 16wound.14For I will be 17like a lion to Ephraim And like a young lion to the house of Judah. 18I, even I, will tear to pieces and go away, I will carry away, and there will be 19none to deliver.
