Hosea 2:10-23

10And then I will 1uncover her lewdness In the sight of her lovers, And no one will rescue her out of My hand.11I will also 2put an end to all her gaiety, Her 3feasts, her 4new moons, her sabbaths And all her festal assemblies.12I will 5destroy her vines and fig trees, Of which she said, ‘These are my wages Which my lovers have given me.’ And I will 6make them a forest, And the 7beasts of the field will devour them.13I will punish her for the 8days of the Baals When she used to 9 10offer sacrifices to them And 11adorn herself with her 12earrings and jewelry, And follow her lovers, so that she 13forgot Me,” declares the Lord.

14“Therefore, behold, I will allure her, 14Bring her into the wilderness And speak 15kindly to her.15Then I will give her her 16vineyards from there, And 17the valley of Achor as a door of hope. And she will 18 19sing there as in the days of her youth, As in the 20day when she came up from the land of Egypt.16It will come about in that day,” declares the Lord, “That you will call Me 21 22Ishi And will no longer call Me 23Baali.17For 24I will remove the names of the Baals from her mouth, So that they will be 25mentioned by their names no more.18In that day I will also make a covenant for them With the 26beasts of the field, The birds of the sky And the creeping things of the ground. And I will 27 28abolish the bow, the sword and war from the land, And will make them 29lie down in safety.19I will 30betroth you to Me forever; Yes, I will betroth you to Me in 31righteousness and in justice, In lovingkindness and in compassion,20And I will betroth you to Me in faithfulness. Then you will 32know the Lord.

21“It will come about in that day that 33I will respond,” declares the Lord. “I will respond to the heavens, and they will respond to the earth,22And the 34earth will respond to the grain, to the new wine and to the oil, And they will respond to 35Jezreel.23I will 36sow her for Myself in the land. 37I will also have compassion on 38her who had not obtained compassion, And 39I will say to 40those who were 41not My people, ‘You are My people!’ And 42they will say, ‘You are my God!’”
