Habakkuk 1:1-4

1The 12oracle which Habakkuk the prophet saw.

23How long, O Lord, will I call for help, And You will not hear? I cry out to You, “Violence!” Yet You do 4not save.3Why do You make me 5see iniquity, And cause me to look on wickedness? Yes, 6destruction and violence are before me; 7Strife exists and contention arises.4Therefore the 8law is 9ignored And justice 10is never upheld. For the wicked 11surround the righteous; Therefore justice comes out 12perverted.
