Genesis 32:9-12
9Jacob said, “O 1God of my father Abraham and God of my father Isaac, O Lord, who said to me, ‘2Return to your country and to your relatives, and I will 3prosper you,’ 104I am unworthy 5of all the lovingkindness and of all the 6faithfulness which You have shown to Your servant; for with my staff only I crossed this Jordan, and now I have become two companies. 117Deliver me, I pray, 8from the hand of my brother, from the hand of Esau; for I fear him, that he will come and 9attack me and the 10mothers with the children. 12For You said, ‘11I will surely 12prosper you and 13make your 14descendants as the sand of the sea, which is too great to be numbered.’”
