Genesis 25:25-30
25Now the first came forth red, 1all over like a hairy garment; and they named him Esau. 26Afterward his brother came forth with 2his hand holding on to Esau’s heel, so 3his name was called 4Jacob; and Isaac was 5sixty years old when she gave birth to them.
27When the boys grew up, Esau became a skillful hunter, a man of the field, but Jacob was a 6peaceful man, 78living in tents. 28Now Isaac loved Esau, because 9he had 10a taste for game, 11but Rebekah loved Jacob. 29When Jacob had cooked 12stew, Esau came in from the field and he was 13famished; 30and Esau said to Jacob, “Please let me have a swallow of 14that red stuff there, for I am 15famished.” Therefore his name was called 16Edom.
