Genesis 1:2-6
2The earth was 12formless and void, and 3darkness was over the 4surface of the deep, and 5the Spirit of God 6was 7moving over the 8surface of the waters. 3Then 9God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. 4God saw that the light was 10good; and God 11separated the light from the darkness. 512God called the light day, and the darkness He called night. And 13there was evening and there was morning, one day.
6Then God said, “Let there be 14an 15expanse in the midst of the waters, and let it separate the waters from the waters.”
