Galatians 1:16-24

16to reveal His Son in me so that I might 1preach Him among the Gentiles, 2I did not immediately consult with 3 4flesh and blood, 17 5nor did I go up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles before me; but I went away to Arabia, and returned once more to 6Damascus.

18Then 7three years later I went up 8to Jerusalem to 9become acquainted with 10Cephas, and stayed with him fifteen days. 19But I did not see any other of the apostles except 11 12James, the Lord’s brother. 20(Now in what I am writing to you, 13I assure you 14before God that I am not lying.) 21Then 15I went into the regions of 16Syria and 17Cilicia. 22I was still unknown by 18sight to 19the churches of Judea which were 20in Christ; 23but only, they kept hearing, “He who once persecuted us is now preaching 21the faith which he once 22tried to destroy.” 24And they 23were glorifying God 24because of me.
