Galatians 1:15-24

15But when God, who had set me apart even from my mother’s womb and 1called me through His grace, was pleased 16to reveal His Son in me so that I might 2preach Him among the Gentiles, 3I did not immediately consult with 4 5flesh and blood, 17 6nor did I go up to Jerusalem to those who were apostles before me; but I went away to Arabia, and returned once more to 7Damascus.

18Then 8three years later I went up 9to Jerusalem to 10become acquainted with 11Cephas, and stayed with him fifteen days. 19But I did not see any other of the apostles except 12 13James, the Lord’s brother. 20(Now in what I am writing to you, 14I assure you 15before God that I am not lying.) 21Then 16I went into the regions of 17Syria and 18Cilicia. 22I was still unknown by 19sight to 20the churches of Judea which were 21in Christ; 23but only, they kept hearing, “He who once persecuted us is now preaching 22the faith which he once 23tried to destroy.” 24And they 24were glorifying God 25because of me.
