Colossians 3:8-12

8But now you also, 1put them all aside: 2anger, wrath, malice, slander, and 3abusive speech from your mouth. 9 4 5Do not lie to one another, since you 6laid aside the old 7self with its evil practices, 10and have 8put on the new self who is being 9 10renewed to a true knowledge 11according to the image of the One who 12created him-- 11a renewal in which 13there is no distinction between Greek and Jew, 14circumcised and uncircumcised, 15 16barbarian, Scythian, 17slave and freeman, but 18Christ is all, and in all.

12So, as those who have been 19chosen of God, holy and beloved, 20put on a 21heart of compassion, kindness, 22humility, gentleness and 23 24patience;
