Colossians 3:12-25
12So, as those who have been 1chosen of God, holy and beloved, 2put on a 3heart of compassion, kindness, 4humility, gentleness and 56patience; 137bearing with one another, and 8forgiving each other, whoever has a complaint against anyone; 9just as the Lord forgave you, so also should you. 14Beyond all these things put on love, which is 1011the perfect bond of 12unity. 15Let 13the peace of Christ 14rule in your hearts, to which 15indeed you were called in 16one body; and 17be thankful. 16Let 18the word of 19Christ richly dwell within you, 20with all wisdom 21teaching and admonishing 22one another 23with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, 24singing 25with thankfulness in your hearts to God. 1726Whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, 27giving thanks through Him to God the Father.
1828Wives, 29be subject to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. 1930Husbands, love your wives and do not be embittered against them. 2031Children, be obedient to your parents in all things, for this is well-pleasing 32to the Lord. 2133Fathers, do not exasperate your children, so that they will not lose heart.
2234Slaves, in all things obey those who are your masters 35on earth, 36not with 37external service, as those who merely please men, but with sincerity of heart, fearing the Lord. 23Whatever you do, do your work 38heartily, 39as for the Lord 40rather than for men, 2441knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward 42of 43the inheritance. It is the Lord Christ whom you 44serve. 25For 45he who does wrong will receive the consequences of the wrong which he has done, and 4647that without partiality.
