Amos 1:6-9
6Thus says the Lord, “For three transgressions of 1Gaza and for four I will not revoke its punishment, Because they deported an entire population To 2deliver it up to Edom.7So I will send fire upon the wall of Gaza And it will consume her citadels.8I will also cut off the inhabitant from 3Ashdod, And him who holds the scepter, from 4Ashkelon; I will even 5unleash My 6power upon Ekron, And the remnant of the 7Philistines will perish,” Says the Lord 8God.
9Thus says the Lord, “For three transgressions of 9Tyre and for four I will not revoke its punishment, Because they delivered up an entire population to Edom And did not remember the covenant of 1011brotherhood.
