Acts 3:13-26

131The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, 2the God of our fathers, has glorified His 34servant Jesus, the one whom 5you delivered and disowned in the presence of 6Pilate, when he had 7decided to release Him. 14But you disowned 8the Holy and Righteous One and 9asked for a murderer to be granted to you, 15but put to death the 1011Prince of life, the one whom 12God raised from the dead, a fact to which we are 13witnesses. 16And on the basis of faith 14in His name, it is 15the name of Jesus which has strengthened this man whom you see and know; and the faith which comes through Him has given him this perfect health in the presence of you all.

17“And now, brethren, I know that you acted 16in ignorance, just as your 17rulers did also. 18But the things which 18God announced beforehand by the mouth of all the prophets, 19that His 20Christ would suffer, He has thus fulfilled. 19Therefore 21repent and return, so that your sins may be wiped away, in order that 22times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord; 20and that He may send Jesus, the 23Christ appointed for you, 2124whom heaven must receive until the 25period of 26restoration of all things about which 27God spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets from ancient time. 22Moses said, ‘28The Lord God will raise up for you a prophet 29like me from your brethren; to Him you shall give heed to everything He says to you. 2330And it will be that every 31soul that does not heed that prophet 32shall be utterly destroyed from among the people.’ 24And likewise, 33all the prophets who have spoken, from Samuel and his successors onward, also announced these days. 25It is you who are 34the sons of the prophets and of the 35covenant which God 36made with your fathers, saying to Abraham, ‘37And in your seed all the families of the earth shall be blessed.’ 26For you 38first, God 39raised up His 40Servant and sent Him to bless you by turning every one of you from your wicked ways.”
