Acts 3:1-3
1Now 1Peter and John were going up to the temple at the 2ninth hour, 3the hour of prayer.
2And 4a man who had been lame from his mother’s womb was being carried along, whom they 5used to set down every day at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, 6in order to beg 7alms of those who were entering the temple.
3When he saw 8Peter and John about to go into the temple, he began asking to receive alms.
