Acts 19:2-6

He said to them, “1Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?” And they said to him, “No, 2we have not even heard whether 3there is a Holy Spirit.”

And he said, “Into what then were you baptized?” And they said, “4Into John’s baptism.”

Paul said, “5John baptized with the baptism of repentance, telling the people 6to believe in Him who was coming after him, that is, in Jesus.”

When they heard this, they were 7baptized 8in the name of the Lord Jesus.

And when Paul had 9laid his hands upon them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they began 10speaking with tongues and 11prophesying.
