Acts 15:35-41
35But 1Paul and Barnabas stayed in Antioch, teaching and 2preaching with many others also, 3the word of the Lord.
36After some days Paul said to Barnabas, “Let us return and visit the brethren in 4every city in which we proclaimed 5the word of the Lord, and see how they are.” 37Barnabas wanted to take 6John, called Mark, along with them also. 38But Paul kept insisting that they should not take him along who had 7deserted them 8in Pamphylia and had not gone with them to the work. 39And there occurred such a sharp disagreement that they separated from one another, and Barnabas took 9Mark with him and sailed away to 10Cyprus. 40But Paul chose 11Silas and left, being 12committed by the brethren to the grace of the Lord. 41And he was traveling through 13Syria and 14Cilicia, strengthening the churches.
