Acts 14:21-28

21After they had 1preached the gospel to that city and had 2made many disciples, they returned to 3Lystra and to 4Iconium and to 5Antioch, 22strengthening the souls of 6the disciples, encouraging them to continue in 7the faith, and saying, “8Through many tribulations we must enter the kingdom of God.” 23When 9they had appointed 10elders for them in every church, having 11prayed with fasting, they 12commended them to the Lord in whom they had believed.

24They passed through 13Pisidia and came into 14Pamphylia. 25When they had spoken the word in 15Perga, they went down to Attalia. 26From there they sailed to 16Antioch, from 17which they had been 18commended to the grace of God for the work that they had 19accomplished. 27When they had arrived and gathered the church together, they began to 20report all things that God had done with them and 21how He had opened a 22door of faith to the Gentiles. 28And they spent 23a long time with 24the disciples.
