Acts 11:20-26

20But there were some of them, men of 1Cyprus and 2Cyrene, who came to 3Antioch and began speaking to the 45Greeks also, 67preaching the Lord Jesus. 21And 8the hand of the Lord was with them, and 9a large number who believed turned to the Lord. 22The 10news about them 11reached the ears of the church at Jerusalem, and they sent 12Barnabas off 13to 14Antioch. 23Then when he arrived and 15witnessed 16the grace of God, he rejoiced and began to encourage them all with 17resolute heart to remain true to the Lord; 24for he was a good man, and 18full of the Holy Spirit and of faith. And 19considerable 20numbers were 21brought to the Lord. 25And he left for 22Tarsus to look for Saul; 26and when he had found him, he brought him to 23Antioch. And for an entire year they 24met with the church and taught considerable 25numbers; and 26the disciples were first called 27Christians in 28Antioch.
